I found this piece of wood at the beach one night when me and my love were looking for ambar. It was dark and cold, but when I saw this tine piece of wood, I found it so beautiful.
There is so much history behind it, and this one I just told you now is only one of them.
Some things move me, like this piece of wood. Who knows where it comes from, or how long has been traveling in the middle of stormy waters. And for me it's enough just to imagine what happened until that very moment that I saw it lying on the sand on a moonless night.
So that's why I took it and brought it home. I knew that the time would come when I would use it and make something out of it.
I saw this piece of wood when no one else saw it, or cared for it, but I did. And that's why I wanted to give it to you.
I saw you, and I know there is so much history behind you, and the little you share with us, I could see so much strenght in you. I don't know why, but the moment I first saw you I wanted to tell you that. And you tried to help me by putting me in contact with that girl, and it was so sweet of you. Thank you very much! I really was in need of a friend here, when a foreing country can be so lonely, even though I have someone here. Nothing compares to a friend.
Anyway, the thing is, I think it's nice when someone out of our life can see the best of us.
And I saw you.
So yes, in case you ever wondered, people see you. And I think that is also nice to know that we are not lying on the sand at a beach in a moonless night, even if we had traveled God only knows how far throught stormy waters.
